they issued be a new DEA certificate that has the number 275 on it.....

The waiver process is called Notification of Intent (NOI) and I believe you are 'waivered' when you complete the form (having certified that you meet the criteria) and submit it online. Ba-da-bing! Waivered.
They notify you later, but you need not wait. But don't take my word for it. Call the help desk.

I got mine on the office treatment center waiver since I cant take and ABMS board and the AOA has not rune its exam yet. Took like 2 weeks to get a reply and new DEA certificate. Easy process.
