Addicts certainly have a lot of opinions. My guess is that the subutex-canker sore theory is another case of true-true but unrelated. But just in case: Anybody on this list treat patients subject to canker sores?
I think you said that the patient stated that 1) the subutex 'is not working' and 2) the subutex is not absorbed. What did he mean by 'not working?' Is he having cravings? To find out if the drug is absorbed, maybe you could test his urine for bup. And maybe you could increase the dose.
